Kenneth Cremona Caruana
Chairperson & Co-Founder
With over three decades of dedication to individuals with disabilities, I have built a career defined by passion, expertise, and impact. From earning my BrainNet certification in Neurodevelopment in 1998, under the mentorship of Mr. Keith Pennock and Dr. Anton Mifsud, to leading as an Occupational Therapist at the British Institute for Brain-Injured Children, I have honed my skills in therapeutic care, team management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
I have also championed awareness for sustainable employment programs and supported countless families and individuals through innovative initiatives. My leadership roles include overseeing therapists and job coaches, establishing sheltered workshops, and developing impactful job coaching courses.
With a Master’s in Bioethics, I specialize in ethical disability care, blending compassion with innovation to create meaningful change. Through volunteering, mentoring, and advocacy, I remain steadfast in my mission to improve lives and empower resilience. I am driven to continue advancing as an Occupational Therapist, embracing every opportunity to inspire hope and foster independence.

Secretary & Co-Founder
I, as an Occupational Therapist, have over 24 years of experience dedicated to advancing geriatric and dementia care. Holding master’s degrees in Geriatrics and Gerontology as well as Geriatrics and Dementia Studies, I am also certified in Bradford Dementia Care Mapping, a globally recognized method for enhancing dementia care.
My career has been driven by innovation and a passion for research. Working within the long-term care setting, I’ve introduced groundbreaking therapies, including virtual reality treatments for people with Parkinson’s, strokes, and traumatic brain injuries, and I’m developing a sensory dementia-friendly garden using green energy technologies. My research includes designing programs for informal dementia caregivers and exploring assistive devices to improve neurorehabilitation outcomes.
Teaching is a vital part of my mission. At the University of Malta, I lead courses on dementia care, assistive technology, and research methodologies, equipping future professionals to push boundaries in their fields.
Every project I undertake reflects my commitment to enhancing the lives of older adults and individuals with neurological conditions. I remain driven to innovate, educate, and transform care for those who need it most.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, I am dedicated to empowering individuals and caregivers in geriatric and dementia care. With a strong foundation in neurodevelopmental rehabilitation and feeding therapy, I bring expertise, empathy, and a personalized approach to every aspect of my practice.
My academic journey reflects a deep commitment to professional growth and excellence. I hold a BSc. (Hons) in Occupational Therapy (2019) and an M.A. in Ageing & Dementia Studies (2024). Certifications such as Positive Approach to Care (PAC) trainer in Dementia Care (2022) and SOS Approach Feeding Therapist (2021) have further shaped my ability to deliver holistic, evidence-based care. In May 2024, I also completed a Masterclass in Pressure Ulcer Prevention and Treatment with the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel in Rome, enhancing my capacity to address complex clinical needs, both as a preventative and a treatment tool.
Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people facing a wide range of conditions, including strokes, traumatic brain injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, cervical neuropathy, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Each person’s journey inspires me to create personalised treatment plans that foster independence and improve quality of life.
Driven by a passion for lifelong learning, I stay at the forefront of advancements in occupational therapy, dementia care and neurorehabilitation. My work is guided by an unwavering belief in the transformative power of tailored, compassionate interventions to help every individual live a more fulfilling life.
